Asphalt Paving Crew Foreman
Responsibilities:
Must be able to operate paver efficiently to put down black base, binder, and surface
Be able to run paver in both 2 man and 3 man configuration
Maintain a professional worksite, prioritizing quality over speed, and addresses deficiencies immediately when identified
Ensure appropriate number of trucks are scheduled and drivers are informed of job details, asphalt type, plant location, site access, and clean out location
Demonstrate a commitment to safety and continuous improvement for self and crew on every job
Keep equipment in good working condition, ensuring hoses, spray nozzles, and moving components function properly
Demonstrate full accountability for job execution, delegating tasks appropriately while ensuring reliable completion
Provide proper training, coaching, and leadership to crew members
Lead by example, actively assist crew with tasks as needed
Requirements:

Assist with daily reports, meeting minutes, and project logs
Field Support
Visit job sites to support project activities and gain field experience
Work with Superintendents to monitor progress and address issues
Help ensure work aligns with plans and specifications
Budget & Cost Tracking
Assist in tracking project costs and quantities
Support invoice review and data entry
Help identify potential cost impacts or changes
Communication
